You are not looking for a photographer who is going to line everyone up and count to three. You want someone who actually gets it. Who knows that your toddler is not going to cooperate, that the baby might cry, that you will probably feel a little awkward in front of the camera — and who is going to make something beautiful out of all of it anyway.

That is exactly what I do.

"Somewhere along the way, clients started calling me a magician — and I think it's because I see things a little differently."

I get down on their level. I follow their lead. I notice the little things — the way your kid reaches for your hand without thinking, the look your partner gives you when the baby does something new, the quiet moment right after the chaos settles. Those are the ones I am always watching for. And those are the ones that will take your breath away when you see them in your gallery.

I actually started photographing families before I had children of my own. Back then I was a nanny, and I could not help but notice how quickly the days were passing for the families I cared for. The small gestures, the tiny quirks, the fleeting moments that would be gone before anyone realized.

I wanted a way to hold onto it all.

Now I step into sessions as a gentle guide — knowing when to lead and when to step back, always watching for the moments that unfold on their own.

Because those are the ones that last.

When I am not photographing families you can find me:

🚲Going on bike rides with my toddler and husband

🌊Making any excuse to get to Lake Superior

If you made it this far, I have a feeling we are going to get along really well. I cannot wait to meet your family, chase your kids around, and make something you will treasure for the rest of your life.
